The most recent issue of SD Metro, a longtime San Diego business publication, highlights some of the best and brightest minds of San Diego County. The winners will all be honored at an awards luncheon at the Sheraton Hotel & Marina on Sept. 26.
A partner in CGS3’s San Diego office, Fernando Landa is a real estate attorney with a broad transactional practice across the United States. He specializes in the acquisition, development, financing, leasing and disposition of commercial real estate assets, representing a variety of developers, investors and lenders in the purchase and sale, financing, leasing and management of all asset types, including hospitality, office, industrial, retail and mixed-use properties.
Landa has made a name for himself in legal and commercial real estate circles – and possesses a unique expertise in distressed real estate workouts and receiverships, handling the sale of nearly $1 billion dollars of real estate assets through the judicial process over the last five years.
His legal and leadership achievements have been recognized by media and professional organizations, including the California Bar Association’s Real Property Law Section, which presented him with the prestigious Morning Star award, given to the top five young real estate attorneys in the state.
He holds a J.D. and an M.S. in Real Estate from the University of San Diego, as well as a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
