Real Property Section of State Bar Recognizes Landa with 2014 Morning Star Award
March 1, 2014 – The Real Property Section of the State Bar of California has announced that Fernando Landa will be a recipient of the 2014 Morning Star Award.
The award is presented by the Real Property Law Section of the State of California Bar to five young real estate lawyers that have shown an early dedication to and leadership in the real estate legal community.
He will be formally recognized in May at the Real Property Law Section’s annual retreat, which will be held this year at the Tenaya Lodge in Yosemite.
Landa specializes in the acquisition, development, financing, leasing and disposition of commercial real estate assets. Focusing on transactional real estate matters, Landa has represented a variety of landlords and lenders in the financing, leasing and purchase and sale of hotels, office, industrial, retail, and mixed-use developments throughout the country.
In addition to this latest recognition, Landa has been recognized previously as one of San Diego’s Top Corporate Counsel by the San Diego Daily Transcript and as one of SDMetro Magazine’s 40 Under 40. Landa has also been a recipient of the “Associate of the Year” award from the San Diego Building Industry Association and was part of the team that was awarded the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties Real Estate Excellence in the Inland Empire Award for “Office Transaction of the Year” in 2014.
