Riley Cutner-Orrantia Honored by the SD Metro
CGS3 Attorney Named one of San Diego’s Top 40 Under 40 Professionals
SAN DIEGO (Aug. 30, 2022) – Crosbie Gliner Schiffman Southard & Swanson (CGS3) attorney Riley Cutner-Orrantia has been named among San Diego’s “Top 40 Under 40” for 2022 by SD Metro, a longtime San Diego business magazine.
This marks the 23rd year SD Metro has honored San Diego’s top young professionals. A feature highlighting all the honorees was published recently in the September issue of the magazine.
Cutner-Orrantia is a forward-thinking attorney who represents developers and investors in all phases of the commercial real estate cycle – including acquisition, financing, and construction in connection with commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects. Additionally, she has experience advising public agencies and project developers in pursuing alternative project delivery methods, including public private partnerships.
Prior to joining CGS3, she was an associate at the Denver office of Kaplan Kirsch & Rockwell LLP, a boutique firm with a nationwide practice, where she cultivated her legal and deal management skills in a variety of transactions including real estate, renewable energy, and infrastructure projects. She has also worked as an associate real estate broker and was a student attorney with Colorado Law Sustainable Community Development Clinic.
In addition to the law, she is passionate about and recognized in the environmental arena and has worked for Earthjustice, contributed her time to Rio Muchacho Organic Farm and was the managing editor of Colorado Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental Law Review.
She is a member of CREW San Diego, the Asian Pacific American Bar Association, the Women’s Energy Network and NAIOP San Diego – and is participating in NAIOP’s Developing Leader Mentorship program. Additionally, Riley frequently connects with students from her alma mater to provide advanced career advice and mentoring.
She holds a B.S. in Environmental Science with a minor in Geography from the University of California, Los Angeles and J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law.
