Katelyn Ducat

Senior Paralegal

Katelyn Ducat is an experienced paralegal who brings a thorough business perspective that adds another layer of client focus to the CGS3 legal team.  She works quickly and efficiently, making her well-equipped at handling multiple high-velocity deals on a regular basis.  Through her years of experience, she has built deep relationships with various title companies and escrow officers – an added value for clients during challenging transactions and closings.  In addition to managing real estate closings in an efficient and effective manner, she is a skilled draftsperson of purchase agreements, leases and related amendments.

Katelyn is a versatile real estate paralegal whose skill set expands beyond that of a typical transactional paralegal.  She has experience with all asset types – including specialized properties like hotels, gas stations and convenience stores – and her strong understanding of receiverships brings a unique expertise to CGS3.  She also has the ability to draft various types of motions and pleadings, in addition to preparation of leases, purchases agreements and construction contracts.

Prior to joining CGS3 in its inaugural year, Katelyn worked at a small investment company assisting in lease drafting and lease evaluations for office and industrial buildings throughout California, Arizona, Texas and Hawaii.  She spent several years as a corporate in-house paralegal at Trigild, where she handled more than 80 different receiverships throughout the United States.
