Amelia Sanchez adds bench strength to growing commercial real estate firm

January 6, 2015 (San Diego, CA) – Crosbie Gliner Schiffman Southard & Swanson LLP (CGS3) announced today the addition of Amelia Sanchez as Senior Counsel.

Sanchez brings to CGS3 more than 18 years of commercial real estate and transactional experience representing national, regional and local companies. She has deep expertise in supporting and advising business clients on real estate portfolio and asset acquisitions, dispositions and a variety of leasing transactions including office, retail, industrial, flex and telecommunications leases.

As former Senior Legal Counsel handling the real estate interests of Cricket Communications, Inc. (now Cricket Wireless) and former Regional General Counsel for the northwest territory of Newland Communities, LLC, Sanchez also has an intimate understanding of what it takes to “get deals done” in ways that meet the business needs of the clients she represents.

“We are incredibly excited about the addition of Amelia to our firm,” said Sean Southard, one of the founding partners of CGS3. “Her combined background working in-house and in Big Law, as well as her breadth of experience across all real estate asset types, is further testament to CGS3’s commitment to leveraging off lawyers who truly understand how to deliver sophisticated legal services in a way that makes sense to our broad spectrum of clients.”

Prior to working in-house, Sanchez spent nine years as an attorney in the San Diego and Del Mar offices of Sheppard Mullin, where she played an integral role in the commercial real estate transactional practice, handling significant purchase, sale, leasing and licensing matters on behalf of owners and developers of office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, residential subdivisions and master planned communities. She graduated from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law.
